The Member-at-Large on the Executive Committee shall attend the Annual and mid-winter meetings of the Executive Committee, and other such meetings as may be necessary. The responsibilities of the Executive Committee are outlined in Article IV of the Constitution and Article II of the Bylaws, and consist of accepting responsibility for the conduct of the business affairs of the Branch.

The Member-at-Large acts as a liaison between the Branch membership and Executive Committee and shares with other Executive Committee members the responsibility of representing members' views. At the Annual Meeting [final business meeting], the Member-at- Large shall inform the membership of important Executive Committee decisions made during the year. The Member-at-Large also shall maintain the Branch policy manual, which is a summary of actions taken by the Executive Committee and includes the rationale behind difficult or controversial decisions.
